All of the templates print on 8.5x11 paper, but be sure to check the print with a ruler and adjust the print scaling percentage. These are also a great resource for checking for hole conflicts on multiple mounts. Certified ski technicians can mount your bindings onto your skis. If you have purchased an entire ski package ( skis, bindings and boots) from one shop, they’ll often throw in the mounting for a nominal fee or even for free. If you don’t have all three, then you only have one option: go to a ski shop. The minimum depth for a screw for a binding mount is 6mm/1/4. Mounting bindings onto skis requires know-how, skills and the right tools. With help from many of the members of the Teton Gravity Research message boards, Jon maintains a set of paper templates for mounting bindings to skis. By CE regulation, all current skis have the recommended drill size printed on the ski, either in the mounting area, on the adjacent sidewall or on the tail with the ski dimensions.
